IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!

This course will spotlight works from esteemed playwrights that went from stage to screen. We'll discuss great dramatic plays and familiar musicals, that became iconic movies. “Casablanca,” “Sound of Music,” “Death of a Salesman,” “Phantom of the Opera” and others will be discussed. Then we’ll take a look at the movie performances of Humphrey Bogart, Julie Andrews, Sir Laurence Olivier, Marlon Brando and others. In their cinematic achievements. The silver screen is filled by the creative works of the world's greatest playwrights. This class will examine the genius of these writers.
