LIVE IN-PERSON class for adults ages 50 and older!
This course examines how modern statistical analysis shapes Major League Baseball decision-making. Through historical context and contemporary tools—from Bill James to Moneyball—students will explore questions about clutch hitting, player comparisons across eras, managerial evaluation, team payroll efficiency, and preseason prediction models. Taught by longtime baseball analyst Michael Walczak, a contributor to the Bill James Project Scoresheet and advisor to SABR.
