The Friends of Lorain County Sacred Landmarks is proud to announce the publication of their new book “Celebrations of Faith: A Century of Worship in Lorain County, Ohio”. Through text and colorful pictures, the book shows the history of 100 religious institutions in Lorain County that have been in existence for over a hundred years. This power-point presentation will enable the participate to learn about the first settlers in Lorain County, Ohio, and how they formed congregations which allowed the community faithful to pray, share fellowship, and find strength. From modest beginnings, these early congregations erected houses of worship that often reflected cherished traditions.
Each attendee will receive a copy of the new book!
