Description
Maria Montessori was more than Italy’s first woman doctor at the beginning of the 20th century; she was a revolutionary educator. Montessori developed an innovative system based on a child’s stage of development as well as their needs and interests. Her methodology inspires the child to learn at their pace, awakening what she termed “the Inner Teacher” and setting a foundation of life long learning.
