Description

LIVE IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!

This class will re-live some memorable Cleveland Indians moments and recall some of the team’s greatest and most interesting players ever from Satchel, Paige, Bob Feller, and Herb Score to Joe Charboneau, Albert Belle, and Gaylord Perry—with lots of humor thrown in as well. Wayne Stewart invites his class to also share their memories, and to feel free to come up with topics for a question and answer session. Stewart, an Amherst resident, has written 40 books to date, mostly on baseball, and was a public school teacher for 31 years. He has interviewed more than 70 Hall of Famers and countless other pro athletes since he began writing professionally in 1978.
