LIVE IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!
Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, The Weavers and others used folk music to address social issues beginning during the Depression dealing with issues from unions and immigration to workers’ rights. Discover how these pioneers popularized folk music and laid the groundwork for the popularity of folk music in the 1960s and beyond.
