Description
The art of France, England, and Germany in the late 18th and early 19th centuries centered on inspiring a strong emotional response from the viewer. Experience how the works of artists such as David, Gericault, Turner, and Friedrich used current events, literature, and the allure of exotic places to tap into the viewer’s emotional reservoir.
