IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!
This class is an introduction to American Art throughout our history. This year we'll be celebrating our 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We will study the evolution of American Art through the centuries to the present day. Gilbert Stuart, Winslow Homer, Grant Wood, Georgia O'Keeffe, Jackson Pollock, and others will be covered. This class will be followed by 6 classes that will be focused on certain categories of American Art such as landscape, portraiture, and genre scenes. Wear your red, white and blue outfits for this one.
