Nov 6, 2025 - Nov 6, 2025
Full course description
IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!
This lecture presents how visual artists throughout the history of art have presented unique views on the creation of the universe, our relationship to divine beings, how our different faiths guide our moral compass, and our concepts of an afterlife. The art of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and ancient civilizations have all contributed to the visualization of these concepts and demonstrate not only their differences but also a surprising unity of belief between them. Works from the CMA show are included.
