Full course description

IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!

Edward Hopper and Grant Wood painted the rural and urban scenes of America during the Great Depression in movements known as “American Realism” and “Regionalism”. Hopper's paintings and prints evoke loneliness, stillness, and contemplation. Wood's Iowa home became his muse for his rural subjects of farmers, corn fields, and deep vistas of endless Mid-American landscapes.
