ONLINE for adults ages 50 and older!
By the 1830's a new American landscape tradition known as the Hudson River School was born in the works of Thomas Cole, Frederic Church, Albert Bierstadt, John Kensett, George Inness, Ashur Durand, and Susie Barstow. These painters studied our valleys and mountain ranges creating poetic vistas that were heavily influenced by Romanticism.
