Course
Ten Plagues of Egypt: Biblical Miracles, Scientific Perspective
Oct 7, 2026 - Oct 28, 2026
Full course description
For adults ages 50 and older!
The Ten Plagues of Egypt are familiar to most: blood in the Nile, frogs on the land, swarms of insects, etc. They are attributed to the wrath of God for enslaving the Israelites. Yet our 21st century understanding might point to more natural geological phenomena. If true, was there less divine intervention and more divine timing? We will also explore what symbolic meaning each of the miracles adds to the history of the events and how we might interpret them today.
