Full course description
LIVE IN-PERSON COURSE for adults ages 50 and older!
The class will focus on a foundational discipline in Biblical studies, one that deals with the examination of available Bible manuscripts in order to determine what the authors of Biblical texts actually wrote and to figure out how, why, and when the texts came to be changed by scribes who were copying them. We will study the methods and principles commonly used by textual critics and consider how these methods and principles help them distinguish between authentic texts and textual corruptions.
