The American Songs Behind The British Invasion

The British Invasion bands were very knowledgeable about American music and "covered" many American country, blues and R&B songs. Which British hits were actually covers of American songs, and who recorded the originals? How do the covers compare to the originals? This class features songs by the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits and others, along with their American counterparts.
