Description
The journey of U.S. women to obtain the “Right to Vote” started officially in 1848 resulting in ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US constitution in 1920. For decades the Suffrage and Anti-suffrage groups waged nationwide media and creative propaganda campaigns to support their views on the reasons why women should or should not have a right to vote.
