Full course description
Description
Christine Granville, often described as Winston Churchill’s favorite spy, was a trailblazer in the world of espionage during World War II. Granville’s remarkable courage and resourcefulness earned her numerous accolades and made her a legend among her peers. Equally inspiring are the Cook sisters, Ida and Louise, two British opera enthusiasts whose love of music led them to undertake extraordinary acts of kindness and courage. Using their passion for opera as a cover, the sisters made frequent trips to Nazi Germany in the 1930s, helping Jewish refugees escape persecution.
