Description
Myths from the classical periods of Greece and Rome provide a rich array of subjects for art throughout the whole history of art. Michelangelo, Gianlorenzo Bernini, Sandro Botticelli, Jacque Louie David, and Titian created countless examples of Greek and Roman mythological subjects such as “Apollo and his Muses”, “Mars Disarmed by Venus”, “Apollo and Daphne”, “Cupid and Psyche”, and the “Birth of Venus”.
