Full course description
Description
For kids of all ages!
Lemonopolis is an online, interactive version of the Lemonade Day program. Lemonopolis is a virtual world where youth learn everything they need to know about starting, owning, and operating their own business - a lemonade stand. As youth explore their way through the Lemonopolis virtual city, they will click to enter certain buildings where they will view videos and complete activities that will prepare them for success. From budgeting and creating a business plan to advertising and site selection, youth will learn everything they need to know about starting their business. The lessons learned in Lemonopolis are then translated into the real world experience of running their new business on Lemonade Day in their community. Through the lessons learned in Lemonopolis and the experience of Lemonade Day, youth learn and practice entrepreneurial skills that will make them successful in business and in life.
