FOR KIDS IN GRADES 6-8
Welcome to LCCC Fab Lab’s Innovation Island, a weeklong camp designed to introduce STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) concepts through hands-on island-themed projects. Young explorers will embark on an exciting journey of creativity, problem-solving and engineering. During the week children will take on new challenges inspired by island survival, exploration and environmental innovation. Through digital fabrication, engineering and creative thinking, children will design, build and experiment to bring their own island inventions to life! Problem solving and teamwork will also be reinforced throughout the week. Children will use digital design tools and laser engraving to create a keepsake.
Lunch will be provided.
