Description
For Kids Ages 8-10
In this three-day camp at the LCCC Lorain Learning Center, students will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) concepts through hands-on building challenges using LEGO® bricks, gears, ramps, and pulleys. Everyday themes and real work situations will inspire projects the students will work on over the three mornings. Through guided yet independent LEGO® builds, students strengthen critical thinking, measurement, and problem-solving skills while encouraging creativity and perseverance. As they experiment, test, and refine their designs, they deepen their understanding of motion, simple machines, and engineering principles—all in a fun, collaborative learning environment. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy building, experimenting, and discovering how things work.
