Description
For Kids Ages 12-14
This intensive, five-day workshop provides youth with an essential foundation in digital literacy, computer hardware fundamentals, and creative software application. Designed to blend education and recreation, the curriculum encourages critical thinking and responsible technology use, empowering students to proactively manage the balance between their digital and real-world engagement.
Participants will gain:
- A foundational understanding of computer hardware components and basic assembly processes.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for safe online navigation.
- Practical experience with entry-level graphic design software.
- Insight into the mechanics, effort, and professional considerations involved in digital content creation (e.g., YouTube).
