Description
Intro to Soldering is a hands-on training course designed for individuals who want to build foundational soldering skills and gain practical experience working with electronic assemblies. Participants will learn the principles and techniques for soldering both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT) components while following industry-recognized J-STD workmanship standards. The course also covers electronic inspection and testing using microscopes, identification of common soldering defects, and effective rework and repair methods. Through extensive hands-on practice with soldering irons and hot air rework stations, attendees will develop the skills and confidence needed to create, inspect, and repair high-quality electronic assemblies. Whether you're new to soldering or looking to strengthen your technical capabilities, this training provides an engaging introduction to the craftsmanship and precision behind modern electronics manufacturing.
