FREE INFO SESSION
The MEMS degree and Microelectronic Manufacturing degrees are LCCC’s associates and bachelors degrees focused on training and education in electronic hardware manufacturing. LCCC has been offering the MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) degree since 2013 and began offering Ohio’s first community college bachelors of applied degree in since 2018. Both degrees are hands-on and strongly career focused. Each degree is tailored by our local industry, designed to train students in how to manufacture, assemble, design, and engineer electronic hardware and printed circuit boards. With a focus in career placement, you could join the 80% of the current MEMS students working at part time or internship jobs and 100% of all graduates hired at companies supporting these degrees!
The following technical info session introduces someone to what is electronic hardware manufacturing with live demonstrations of electronic assembly while answering questions related to degree content as well as career placement. The info session is designed to be interactive between the presenter and the audience.
The intended audience is for those who may be interested in signing up with MEMS or want to know more about what the program’s career placement opportunities and education content. This is an educational opportunity to see live demonstrations, listen to and interact with the coordinator during these demonstrations, and get questions answered about the degree and training offered in the core courses.
