Description
Intro to Surface Mount Technology (SMT) provides a practical and engaging introduction to the world of modern electronics manufacturing. Whether you are new to SMT or looking to expand your knowledge, this course will guide you through SMT fundamentals, the complete SMT assembly process, common component and packaging types, and key quality and inspection practices. Participants will gain an understanding of typical defects, their causes, and methods for prevention, while also receiving hands-on exposure to SMT equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes. Combining classroom learning with real-world application, this training offers a valuable opportunity to build foundational SMT knowledge, develop practical skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for the technologies that drive today’s electronic products.
