Why choose Pickleball and fitness at LCCC?

  • We are proud to offer both managed and open play opportunities within a close-knit, welcoming community.
  • Managed play helps players to enjoy the game more. This helps the flow of the games and ensures players are playing in both safe and enjoyable games.
  • Players consistently say that this is their preferred playing destination because of the community that has been built.
  • Please consider viewing this video that gives some context around the community element: LCCC Pickleball w Andrea and Mike
  • Along with Pickleball, members have access to our Fitness Center, indoor track, etc. We pride ourselves on the value we offer our local residents.

Fitness Center/Informal Recreation membership allows access to the LCCC Fitness Center, indoor track and multi-purpose fieldhouse (tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball etc.), and gymnasium. In addition, there are locker rooms for daily use or to rent as well showers and towel service. LCCC ID cards are required for access.

  • Age 13 and up allowed access to all facilities
  • Age 10 and up allowed access to fieldhouse and track
  • Youth ages 10-12 must be accompanied/actively supervised by a parent/legal guardian who also has current access to the facilities

As an academic institution that serves the entire community, our facility schedule must prioritize credit-bearing classes and previously confirmed external rentals from our community members and partners. Once these activities are scheduled, we are unable to modify the calendar during that month. Because we serve the broader community, there will be times when spaces typically used for pickleball, tennis, or basketball are reserved for other programs or college-sponsored events, such as the College’s Commencement Ceremony each May.

These periodic scheduling adjustments allow us to remain a community-centered institution while continuing to provide high-quality facilities at a low cost. Please remember that when the courts are not available, as part of your membership, members have access to our fitness center, indoor track, and locker room amenities; all at some of the most affordable rates in the county.

We know there will be times when the courts are not available, but we hope that you’ll agree that LCCC has a lot to offer and that you’ll continue to choose the LCCC “Pickleball Palace” as your courts of choice.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and continued support, and we thank you for choosing LCCC as your place to enhance your fitness and wellness.
