Description

At first Franklin fancied himself a loyal Colonist to the Crown; many of his neighbors felt the same way. As tensions grew Franklin went to England seeking a diplomatic solution. He knew war against the world’s most powerful navy was a fool’s errand. While in England for over 10 years, a chance visit to Ireland changed Franklin’s mind about war with the British. Find out how.
